Cornhole Rules

1.     Each team Will Receive 4 PSSC T-Shirts.  Shirts must be worn during each match.

2.    Teams may have anywhere from 2-4 players.

3.    Best of 3 Series.  Each Match will play all three games regardless if once team wins the first two. (Exception is in the playoffs)

4.    Two people must be selected to play each game.  Teammates may rotate who plays each game in the series.  They cannot be rotated with a game.

5.    Each team will receive 4 bags per turn.

  1. Teammates face each other at opposite board sets that are paced out at approx. 15-20 feet apart. (1 person from each team at each board)

7.    Players alternate tossing the bags into the hole in the board, until all 8 bags have been thrown.

8.    Teams will alternate who throws first per team.

  1. The thrower must stand behind the front foot line on the board. If he/she crosses and throws, they lose that throw. Also, if someone tosses out of turn, they lose that throw.
  2. Bags hitting the ground first and rolling onto the board do not count.
  3. 3 points for a bag in the hole, 1 point for on the board.
  4. Score is calculated as difference in team totals per throw session.

For example, team 1 gets 1 bag in the whole and 1 bag on the board = 4 points. Team 2 gets 1 bag in the hole = 3 points. The final score from the throw is team 1 with 1 point. (4-3=1)
First team to 21 wins.

13. Matches will be schedule into 45 mintue to 1 hour time slots.  If a match is not over and time is up, a winner will be declared based on the score at that time.  If it is a tie, the game will be declared a tie with the exception of playoffs.

14. PSSC staff will be onsite to determine all rules questions and manage play.  Scores per game and match will be self-kept.

15. Have fun and meet new people!  Any bad language or unacceptable behaviour will result in being ejected from the league.
